Pilgrim Expedition, 50/50, White/White/Black
The PILGRAM EXPEDITION is a highly responsive fast, expedition sea kayak designed for the small or slim paddler. Under 20″, the narrow hull offers easy acceleration and speed. It is quick from edge to edge so easily turned and controlled in wind with a minimum of weather cocking even in strong winds. This kayak is as easy to roll as any Greenland style kayak, with its small footprint. The PILGRAM EXPEDITION’s hull was designed specifically for the lighter paddler, whether small or long and slim. This multiple-fit option is due to the raised knee bumps on either side of the cockpit, that accomodate the smaller paddler needing greater leverage for strength, and the tall, thin paddler with a longer femur.
The Pilgram Expedition is fitted with the performance glass seat (with two widths available), and has MIKco’s recommended Kari slider with new composite skeg box system. Like all NDK’s, this kayak has a keyhole cockpit that gives excellent contact, grip and hence control while allowing quick exit as need be, and a sloping middle bulkhead behind the seat for easy emptying of water.
It has a custom front bulkhead that increases front storage space, reduces water in an emergency and allows for the positive, comfortable foam bulkhead footbrace. So come demo Nigel’s version of smaller boats, whether for an hour or a weekend.
